About Me
- Bren Romans
- I'm a cartoonist and I have a passion for the sea. This is my way of indulging that passion, a cartoon strip about a lighthouse keeper and an albatross called Humboldt. When I'm not doing this I draw cartoons about science, business, fish, anything really... ...and when I'm not doing that I mostly like to sail, play guitar, or hang out by water.

I was in the house on my own once cooking dinner. I walked out of the kitchen for a minute and when I came back there was a huge spider standing just in front of the stove. After a while, as I needed to stop the dinner burning, I got very brave and almost put a box on top of it. Almost, I couldn't go near enough to do it! A friend down the road was a policeman and I reckoned he'd be brave enough to tackle it - and he was. If he hadn't been around I'd have been in trouble.
